A Google Business Profile can put your business in front of people searching for what you offer. It is not a replacement for good service or a website, but it gives customers a reliable starting point for your name, location, hours, phone number, and reviews.

Choose the category that best describes your main business. Use the fewest accurate categories instead of selecting every possible option. If you travel to customers, set a precise service area. If customers visit you, make sure your address and map pin are correct. Keep hours current, including holiday changes.

Write a plain description that says what you do, where you operate, and who you serve. Add clear photos regularly: the outside of the premises, inside, team, products, completed work, and branded materials. Do not use a different business name on Google from the name customers see in real life. Inconsistent details create doubt and can cause profile problems.
