Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using KobStore, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the platform.
2. The service
KobStore provides a hosted business portal for sellers and creators. The service may include a storefront, product catalogue, marketplace listing, and dashboard tools for managing products, orders, followers, and promotions. Published listings appear on Google Search.
3. Your account, verification, and content
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your account details up to date. You are responsible for the legal and factual accuracy of your business information, listings, images, and any messages you send through the platform. You may not post illegal, deceptive, counterfeit, misleading, or otherwise harmful content.
4. Payments, plans, and paid features
KobStore offers registration plans with the prices and listing limits shown at checkout. Foundation is free and includes up to 10 listings. A Foundation account with no published listing has five days from registration to publish one. Emie may send in-app and email reminders during this setup period. If no listing is published by the deadline, the account expires and enters a five-day deletion notice period. A first listing published within the setup period receives a 14-day trial from registration. When that trial ends, listings are hidden and the account enters the same five-day deletion notice period. Emie may send in-app and email notices during the deletion period. Upgrading before the deletion deadline keeps the account and restores eligible listings; otherwise, the account and its data may be deleted at the end of the notice period. Foundation listings do not renew. A paid plan is a one-time payment and includes the Verified badge. Other features have separate fees, including the Point of Sale (POS) system, boosts, market intelligence, ad-free storefronts, email marketing credits, and other optional services. KobStore may display sponsored listings from other businesses on a storefront after the seller has been on KobStore for 48 hours. Sellers on a paid plan can purchase the Ad-Free Storefront add-on to remove these placements while the add-on is active. Current add-on prices are shown in the seller dashboard before purchase. Payments are processed through Paystack and are subject to the prices and terms shown at the time of purchase. KobStore does not hold buyer funds on behalf of sellers, and sellers transact directly with buyers and clients.
5. Messaging and communications
KobStore sends platform service-related communications through in-app notifications and email. Sellers may send email campaigns using the marketing features available to them. If you choose to contact a seller through WhatsApp, that is a direct conversation between you and the seller, not a KobStore-operated messaging or marketing channel. You agree not to use the platform to spam, harass, impersonate others, or send unlawful promotional content. Marketing messages must comply with applicable laws and any platform rules.
6. Your responsibilities as a seller
You are responsible for keeping your account details accurate, maintaining secure access to your account, fulfilling orders, responding to leads, honoring your own delivery and payment arrangements, and complying with all applicable laws in your business activities. KobStore is not responsible for your sales, customer disputes, delivery, refunds, or business outcomes.
7. Suspension, removal, and termination
KobStore may suspend, restrict, or remove accounts or storefronts that violate these Terms, misuse the service, or present a risk to other users, our systems, or the public. You may stop using the service at any time, and your access may be affected if your products or account are no longer maintained according to the relevant plan, trial, or feature terms.
8. Limitation of liability
KobStore is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee sales, customer traffic, delivery of messages, or uninterrupted availability. Published listings appear on Google Search. To the extent permitted by law, KobStore is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of the platform or your business activities conducted through it.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time as the product evolves. Continued use of KobStore after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
