Use edits such as cropping, rotation, and modest exposure correction to make a product photo easier to view. Keep the original image so you can compare it with the edited version before publishing.

Do not remove scratches, alter colour, smooth away wear, replace a damaged part, or add a feature that is not on the item. If an edit changes a buyer's likely impression of condition or size, use the unedited photograph and describe the issue instead.

Check edited images beside the physical product, especially for reflective, patterned, or colour-sensitive goods. Disclose repairs and visible defects in the listing rather than concealing them. Remove a photo if lighting or editing makes the product look materially different from what the buyer will receive. Keep colour correction consistent with the actual item.
