A multi-item order needs a pick-and-pack check that matches each product code, variant, quantity, and included piece to the buyer's confirmed list. Do not seal a parcel while a line is missing or unclear, especially where sizes or accessories differ. Check the list while the goods are still accessible, before sealing makes an omission harder to detect.

Ask another staff member to check visually similar or higher-value goods, and mark a line as packed only after looking at the actual stock. If the order needs two parcels, link both to one private order reference and keep the record until handover. Show which items are in each package on the same order record.

A checklist catches picking errors but cannot resolve a shortage or guarantee carrier handling. Stop and ask the customer to approve any change to quantity, item, price, or dispatch plan; record the answer and follow your stated return terms. If a missing item changes the order, pause dispatch until the buyer agrees what happens next.
