Start with Google’s current eligibility and verification instructions. Use your real business name and the most suitable primary category; do not add keywords to the name or select unrelated categories. Enter a phone number and website you control, and complete the verification process Google assigns.
Before verification, check the current Google requirements for your business type and represent the operation as it really works. A service-area business that visits customers should not publish a residential address as a walk-in shop if customers are not received there. Use the genuine name, phone, hours, and service details, and keep control of the account with an authorised business owner rather than a marketer's personal login.
Keep ownership access with the business and enable account recovery that more than one authorised person can manage. Do not let a former agency retain the only login. After setup, check the profile from a customer's phone, confirm the phone number reaches the right person, and record when verification or edits remain pending.
For businesses that visit customers rather than receive them at a staffed location, follow Google’s service-area guidance rather than displaying an ineligible address. Google can change its setup requirements, so check the current Business Profile documentation. KobStore can also hold a shareable service page; create one here.
