Describe the fruit's condition when you inspected it and use simple terms buyers can understand, such as firm, partly ripe, or ready to eat. If a batch contains fruit at different stages, say so and show the variation in the photo.
Check the lot again before packing, especially if collection is delayed. Ripeness changes with time and handling, so do not promise an exact eating date or claim that every piece will ripen together. Separate damaged or overripe pieces from the quantity offered.
Ask how soon the buyer plans to use the fruit if timing matters, then explain what is currently available. Agree any substitution and handover directly. A listing describes the batch you checked; it cannot guarantee how fruit will change after collection or transport. If a buyer needs fruit for a specific meal, clarify timing before handover.
