Name the furniture material only as specifically as you can verify. Distinguish solid timber, veneer, engineered board, metal, and fabric where the maker's information or inspection supports it. If you know only the visible finish, describe that surface instead of guessing what is underneath.
Photograph an edge, underside, or join when it helps show the construction, and include the actual piece's dimensions and condition. Avoid claims about species, origin, durability, or treatment that are not supported by the supplier or item record.
A finish can resemble a different material, so appearance alone may not establish what the furniture is made from. Keep supplier details with the product, and correct the listing if inspection shows that an earlier description was too broad or inaccurate. If the construction is uncertain, describe only the visible finish.
