Use ?genuine,? ?OEM,? or ?aftermarket? only when records for the exact part support that description. Keep invoices, packaging, and supplier statements linked to the item code; a familiar logo or a wholesale invoice alone may not establish authorised status.
Match the part number, maker, and product description to the documents for that component. If records show only that the part was purchased, describe that fact without calling the shop an official dealer or implying brand authorisation.
When provenance is uncertain, say so plainly and avoid claims such as counterfeit-free or factory-original. Photograph the actual label and markings, and distinguish a branded part from a compatible replacement. Check any written distribution agreement before using language that suggests a formal relationship with the brand. Do not carry a brand claim from one component to another.
