Walk through the work with the customer and demonstrate relevant settings or controls. Note any incomplete tasks, parts ordered, or follow-up date. Ask the customer to confirm receipt of the handover information.
At handover, walk through the completed scope, show the customer how to use or maintain the result where appropriate, and identify any unfinished item. Give them a written summary, warranty terms if applicable, care instructions, and contact route for questions. Ask the customer to confirm receipt, not to waive a concern. If an issue remains, write down who will act and by when.
Ask the customer who should receive the handover notes when the person approving the work is not the end user.
Ask the customer to test or inspect the relevant result with you, then note questions and outstanding items. Provide instructions in a format they can keep and identify who to contact if a problem appears. Do not mark a job complete while an agreed deliverable or safety check remains open.
Do not imply a repair fixed a separate issue you did not inspect. Describe your handover standard on a KobStore service page; create one.
