Offer chilled goods only if the product's required handling conditions can be maintained from storage through handover. Check the maker's directions and current public-health requirements for the specific item, then confirm whether the planned route and recipient can meet them.
Use suitable insulated packaging and minimise time outside controlled storage, but do not assume a cold bag proves the product stayed within a required range. Ask the carrier about acceptance and handling, and agree a handover time when the buyer can receive the goods.
If conditions cannot be maintained or verified, do not promise that fulfilment arrangement. Record how the product was stored and handed over, and explain the limits to the buyer. Packaging and a prompt delivery plan do not make an unsafe or temperature-abused item suitable for sale.
