Measure the actual furniture and show width, depth and height in centimetres. Say whether measurements include handles, legs, cushions or a removable top, and distinguish assembled dimensions from the packed size. For made-to-order pieces, label measurements as a specification or estimate rather than a finished-unit measurement.
A room photo can help with scale, but it does not prove a piece will fit a buyer's doorway. Ask the customer to compare the item's dimensions with the entrance, stairs, lift and intended space before agreeing a seller-arranged delivery. Photograph the actual item beside a clear reference only when that comparison is reliable.
Furniture measurements reduce guesswork, not transport responsibility. Confirm access details, carrying requirements, delivery cost and collection point directly before taking a firm order. If a measurement changes after assembly or finishing, correct the listing and any link already shared.
