Identify the part number and source when known, and describe the actual component's condition, missing fittings, and visible damage. If you know which vehicle it came from, say so; do not invent a removal history or repair record.

Record the test you performed, when it was done, and what it showed. State which functions remain untested. A bench check does not prove fitment, remaining service life, or performance in a different vehicle, so keep those claims separate.

Photograph the code, worn areas, and any repair on the exact part being offered. Ask the buyer to verify compatibility against the vehicle and reliable fitment information. Keep inspection notes with the stock record and update them if a later check changes your description. Keep a separate record if a component was cleaned or reconditioned.
