Check each ceramic piece for chips, cracks, and loose handles before wrapping. Protect pieces individually and use dividers or cushioning so they cannot strike one another. Choose a box that leaves room for padding without allowing the item to move inside.

Photograph the actual item and disclose any flaw before agreeing collection or courier handover. Separate pieces with damage from sound stock, and pack lids, handles, or matching parts so they cannot rub against the main surface.

Ask the carrier whether it accepts the parcel type and agree any extra packing cost with the buyer. A fragile label may communicate a handling request but cannot prevent impact or guarantee careful treatment. Check that the parcel remains protected even if the label is overlooked. Use cushioning that keeps each piece from touching the outer box.
