Photograph the actual furniture from a full view and close-ups of each visible scratch, chip, stain, wobble, or repair. Add a wider image to show where a defect sits on the piece, and describe whether it affects appearance, stability, or use.
Inspect joints, fasteners, drawers, and doors rather than calling an item stable after a glance. If a table moves at one joint, name the location and say whether you tightened or repaired it. Do not digitally remove marks or make a repair sound more complete than it is.
Keep the condition note with the exact item and update it if the piece changes before collection. A buyer can assess wear more fairly when photos and text match. If you cannot verify structural safety, avoid assuring the customer that the furniture is safe to use.
