Check whether any orders or reservations remain open before retiring the offer. Contact affected buyers directly if the change matters to their order, and offer an alternative only after describing how it differs and receiving their agreement. Do not redirect an old listing in a way that makes a substitute look identical.
Separate remaining units from a product line that has ended. If a few pieces remain, describe those exact units and their condition rather than implying that the supplier can restock them. Remove outdated prices and availability from saved posts where practical.
