Keep the liquid in its original, labelled container unless repacking is permitted and carried out under applicable requirements. Check the cap, closure, and seal for leakage or damage before packing; set aside any container that is cracked, swollen, or leaking.

Use a secondary barrier compatible with the product and pack it upright with cushioning that limits movement. Keep chemicals separate from food and other goods they could contaminate. Check current carrier restrictions before accepting a route or promising dispatch.

Inspect the closed parcel and follow the maker's handling instructions. Do not claim that a leak test guarantees safe transport or use packaging to conceal a damaged seal. Tell the buyer about any packaging limits and agree the handover only when the product can be handled appropriately. Keep the cap protected from pressure inside the parcel.
