Say whether the furniture is assembled or supplied flat-packed, and list the panels, hardware, tools, and instructions included. Photograph the package contents or provide the maker's parts list, and identify any tool or wall fixing the buyer must supply.

Count fasteners and check panels against the instructions before collection. Keep hardware grouped by the piece it belongs to, and set aside damaged or missing components rather than describing the package as complete. State whether assembly is the buyer's task or a separate arrangement.

Do not promise an assembly time or easy rebuild unless the maker's information supports it. If dimensions differ between packed and assembled state, show both. Update the listing if a fitting or panel changes, and confirm any separately agreed assembly or delivery terms directly. Tell the buyer when a tool or wall fixing is not included.
