Record the size printed on each shoe and the maker's sizing information if you can verify it. An insole measurement can help comparison; state how you measured it and do not promise fit from a label alone.
Photograph both shoes, including soles, heels, insoles, labels, and any repair. Check the left and right shoe separately for wear, loose stitching, odour, or damage, and disclose a difference between them. Keep the pair together under one stock record.
For a used pair, describe the actual condition rather than using a generic grade. Include laces, insoles, or a box only if they are part of the sale. A buyer can compare size and wear more accurately when the photos and notes belong to the pair they will receive. If the pair has different wear, note which side and show both shoes.
