Separate observable facts from claims about what a product will do. A material, dimension, or labelled capacity can be checked on the item; a promise about treatment, safety, durability, or performance needs evidence that supports that exact wording.
Compare the proposed description with the label, reliable supplier documents, or a relevant test. Keep the source with the product record and describe the scope accurately. A test of one feature does not prove every model performs the same way or that a health outcome will follow.
Remove superlatives and guarantees you cannot substantiate. If evidence is limited, use neutral language about the verified feature or leave the claim out. Check current product-specific rules where claims affect safety or regulated use, and revise wording when the product or evidence changes. Keep a dated copy of evidence so the published wording can be checked later.
