Set the dispatch cut-off from the time needed to verify stock, pick, pack, label, and reach the confirmed carrier collection point. Check staff availability and packaging supply before stating when orders received by that time can leave the shop.
Separate your packing deadline from the carrier's delivery estimate. Exclude non-working days only when that matches the shop's actual schedule, and explain when an item needs extra inspection or preparation. Track ordinary and busy-day completion times to see whether the cut-off is realistic.
If a collection is missed or capacity changes, tell affected buyers promptly and revise the estimate. Do not promise same-day dispatch or arrival unless the people, stock, and carrier arrangement are confirmed. The seller manages fulfilment and agrees delivery terms directly with the buyer. State when the cut-off applies on weekends or public holidays.
