Use ?handmade? only when it accurately describes the work involved. Explain which parts you made, assembled, or decorated, and name ready-made or outsourced components rather than implying that every part came from your own process.
Keep dated work-in-progress photos, materials receipts, or maker notes that relate to the item. If an item is a batch, link the evidence to that batch; a photo of a similar piece may not support a claim about a different product.
Do not imply local origin, fair-trade status, or artisan affiliation without reliable evidence. Describe the production process in plain terms and distinguish an individual maker's work from supplier-provided components. Correct the listing if your sourcing or production arrangement changes. Describe the process, not a broad origin label you cannot substantiate. Link each image or receipt to the item it documents.
