Start with a question
Choose one decision before opening analytics: what to reorder, which service to promote, whether order activity changed, or how much stock value is tied up. Set a period that fits the question, then compare it with a previous period of the same length. Note unusual events such as a stock-out, holiday, price change, or promotion that may affect the comparison.
Use the measures that fit your business
- Product sellers: review orders, sales trends, best-selling products, and stock value together. Check the cost and current availability before increasing an order.
- Service providers: review enquiries, followers, and most-requested services where shown. Check whether requests became confirmed work before changing your availability or packages.
- All sellers: compare the dates and definitions used in each view. Do not treat an enquiry as a completed sale or a follower as a buyer.
Turn the result into one test
If orders fell while stock remained available, review the listing, price, and customer questions before changing several things at once. If one service receives more enquiries, check capacity and the details customers ask for before adding appointments. If stock value is high, identify which items make up the balance and whether they are still sellable.
Write down the metric, period, finding, and action. Review the same measure after the change. A short record makes it easier to distinguish a repeated pattern from a single busy or quiet day. KobStore's seller dashboard presents activity and analytics views; use them alongside order, cost, and stock records for decisions.
