Busy periods expose weak systems. Start by reviewing last season’s sales, stock shortages, customer questions, delays, and payment problems. Identify the products or services that create demand and the resources required to deliver them.

Set reorder points, confirm supplier timing, prepare staff responsibilities, and define how orders will be accepted and prioritized. Update your storefront, prices, hours, delivery terms, and availability. Publish the deadline for custom orders or bookings. If capacity is limited, say so before customers pay.

Protect cash flow. Separate deposits, completed sales, supplier payments, and refunds. Use a POS or clear sales record so every transaction is visible. After the season, review margin and customer feedback, not revenue alone. Preparation turns high demand into repeat business instead of complaints and emergency costs.
