Mobile money makes local selling convenient, but the process still needs controls. State the total price, delivery or collection charge, order reference, and payment instructions clearly. Keep the customer’s order linked to the payment record.

Confirm payment through the business’s actual transaction record rather than relying only on a screenshot or message. Do not release high-value goods until the payment is verified. Keep separate records for deposits, balances, refunds, and credit sales. Limit access to payment information and avoid requesting unnecessary personal details.

Give the customer a receipt or written confirmation showing what was ordered, amount received, balance if any, and expected delivery. A POS or sales record reduces mistakes when several transactions arrive together. Convenience should not remove verification; a clear process protects both the buyer and the business.
